Visa Information

Tourist Visa

An ordinary passport holder who wishes to enter Thailand to participate in a MICE event (Meeting, Incentives, Convention & Exhibitions) supported by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau is subjected to be granted a Tourist visa. This means individuals from countries that require a visa to enter Thailand and travelling to Bangkok to attend conference must apply for a “Tourist Visa”.
In cases where attendees need to apply for a visa, they should consider the “Tourist (MICE) Visa (TR-MICE)” category. To determine the applicable method for obtaining a Tourist MICE visa, visit https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ and click on “Do I need a Tourist Visa” and “Which visa type should I apply for?”

Visa Exemption & Visa on Arrival
For delegates from countries exempted from Thai visas, a valid passport (with at least six months validity from the travel date) is usually sufficient for entry.
Please refer to the list of countries and territories entitled for Visa Exemption and Visa on Arrival to Thailand here:
Please note that delegates who apply online for a Visa on Arrival must present themselves at a Visa on Arrival counter at the airport. The advanced online Visa on Arrival will be faster and more convenient than applying upon arrival.
