Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC)
The World Federation of Occupational Therapists Congress 2026 will be held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). One of Southeast Asia’s leading venues, BITEC is conveniently located in the Bang Na district, offering easy access to both the city centre and major transport hubs.

Getting to BITEC
Whether you are coming directly from the airport or your accommodation, there are a number of options to arrive at the Congress venue. We strongly recommend you travel via the BTS Skytrain.
From Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) 14km:
- By Airport Rail Link and BTS Skytrain: Take the Airport Rail Link to Phaya Thai Station, then transfer to the BTS Skytrain and take the Sukhumvit Line (Green Line) to Bang Na Station. From Bang Na Station, BITEC is a short walk or a shuttle ride away.
- By Taxi: Taxis are readily available at the airport. The journey to BITEC takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
From Don Mueang Airport (DMK) 39km:
- By Bus and BTS Skytrain: Take the A1 or A2 bus from the airport to Mo Chit BTS Station, then take the Sukhumvit Line (Green Line) to Bang Na Station. BITEC is a short walk or shuttle ride from the station.
- By Taxi: The taxi ride from Don Mueang Airport to BITEC typically takes around 40-60 minutes, depending on traffic.
- BTS Skytrain: The venue is 20-minute ride from Bangkok CBD on the SkyTrain. The closest BTS station to BITEC is Bang Na Station (Exit 1). BITEC is a 10-minute walk from the station through a skywalk which leads directly to the Welcome Hall. There is also a free shuttle service provided by BITEC.
- Bus: Via Sukhumvit Road – Bus No. 102, 116, 129, 142, 184, 2, 23, 25, 45, 507, 508, 511, 536, 544, 545.

- Taxi/Grab: Taxis and ride-sharing services like Grab are widely available throughout Bangkok. Taxis are always available in front of Event Hall 101 or Business Centre and can be pre-booked with BITEC staff via the Business Centre.
