This informal gathering is open to occupational therapists of Korean origin attending the WFOT Congress 2026, including those working in Korea and internationally. It provides an opportunity to meet colleagues, reconnect with peers, and build networks within the global Korean occupational therapy community before the Welcome Reception.

The Danish Organization of Occupational TherapistsDenmark: The Danish Organization of Occupational Therapists will be organising a dinnerparty on monday 9th February at 8.30 pm in hotel Inside Melia in Bangkok. We would therefore value the opportunity of Danish OT members on this date. We meet after the welcome reception at WFOT2026 at BITEC and travel with the skytrain. Japanese Association of Occupational Therapists (JAOT)“The Japanese Association of Occupational Therapists (JAOT) is planning an exchange dinner for JAOT members on Tuesday, 10 February. Prior to the event, we will open LINE Open Chat (Japanese) for participants of the WFOT Congress 2026 (JAOT members only), with the aim of promoting exchanges and communication both before and during the congress. Details on how to participate in the chat (including the password) and exchange dinner will be announced in January through JAOT website, SNS, and members’ portal site.

Justice-based OT Networking MeetingFacilitated by Dr. Lisa Jaegers, Dr. Sandra Rogers, this meeting will bring together those new to Justice-based OT (JBOT) and our existing network of OT practitioners, faculty, students, and researchers to explore the role of OT in justice-based practice, teaching, and research. We will actively seek input on JBOT initiatives based on our 2020 publication that that identified (1) advocacy and policy, (2) education, (3) research, and (4) resources needed for improving occupational justice and seeking criminal justice reform. Consider attending this informal meeting to learn more and connect with others who have similar interests.
