Quality indicators provide evidence of how occupational therapy services contribute to rehabilitating patients with neurological injuries, thereby demonstrating the benefits of occupational therapy.
Objective: to report the use of the QUEST in OT service in a neurological rehabilitation center.
Method: The team of OT service leaders was trained with the use of the QUEST tool, this same group initiated the quality indicators for the OT service during the year 2023-2024. The selected indicators were within the quality domains indicated by QUEST, professional competence, sustainability, accessibility, effectiveness, efficiency, person-centeredness, and safety. Specific quality indicators were determined and the measurement of these is defined, being SMART.
